Situated in the heart of the prestigious Bridge Pa Triangle, Paritua is a boutique estate dedicated to crafting wines that honor the "oldest gravels" of Hawke's Bay. Since 2022, our 53-hectare single vineyard has been fully certified organic, reflecting a deep commitment to sustainable farming and the preservation of the land shaped by the ancient Ngaruroro riverbed. Our modern, architecturally striking winery is designed to sit gracefully within this rugged landscape, housing state-of-the-art technology like optical berry sorting to ensure uncompromising quality. We are most renowned for our powerful, Bordeaux-style reds that certainly won’t disappoint - specifically our flagship 21·12 blend - as well as elegant, site-driven Syrah and rich, textured Chardonnay.

Paritua Chardonnay

Taste profile: Stone Paddock Chardonnay is a lightly oaked wine. Showing ripe stonefruit and honeydew melon aromas with hints of nougat and marmalade. Food match Shellfish, Roast Chicken, Mild and Creamy Cheeses

Paritua Red

Taste profile: Our finest Merlot dominant blend with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. A deep ruby red colour with aromas of spicy black Doris plum and wild forest berries with fine cedar notes, vanilla, baking spices and cocoa powder. Food match Mushroom risotto, beef casserole, or beef bourguignon.

Paritua Scarlet

Taste Profile: 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc. Medium-to-full-bodied, featuring a wonderful velvety texture. The flavour profile is dominated by dark berries, plum, and cassis, with subtle spicy notes and a "stoney" mineral quality. Food match Hard, mature cheeses, Grilled beef steak, lamb dishes and bbq.

Paritua Syrah

Taste Profile: An aroma of ripe blueberry, blackberry and violets. Savoury notes of cured meat, exotic spice and clove and dried herbs de Provence. It is often compared to Northern Rhône Syrah. Food match Charcuterie, pork shoulder, BBQ and smoky grilled vegetables. Wild mushroom risotto, roasted eggplant, or dishes featuring black pepper and thyme.

Taste Profile: Made in only the very best of vintages. A Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend with Cabernet Franc and Merlot. A complex aroma of cassis, black currant, and black cherry, fresh tobacco, cocoa powder hints of oyster shell, floral violet, clove, and an intriguing sanguine and sous bois note. Food match Grilled Lamb Wild mushroom risotto Beef cheek, aged hard cheese
